Rocket League developer Psyonix is now sharing even more details about the free and premium content coming to its popular multiplayer racing experience, starting with the Supersonic Fury DLC and continuing with the themed updates for the title.

Rocket League burst onto the scene at the beginning of the month, and thanks to a great word-of-mouth marketing campaign, not to mention the fact that it was free to PS4 owners with PS Plus subscriptions, the title is now a huge success.

Developer Psyonix has shared all sorts of details in recent days about upcoming features and updates for Rocket League, and now, on the PS blog, it confirms some of the fresh content that's set to arrive via paid and free methods.

The Supersonic Fury Pack adds plenty of goodies

First up, there's the Sueprsonic Fury DLC pack, which is going to launch in early August. As you can see in the video below, the new add-on brings two new cars with six decals each, not to mention two rocket boosts, two wheel sets, five paint types, and a few new trophies. It will cost $3.99/€3.99.

Besides this special DLC, Rocket League is also going to receive different free updates that add fresh content. The new goodies include a new map called Utopia Coliseum, 70 new country flags, not to mention the Spectator mode that should work in a similar way to the Replay Viewer in terms of controls and mechanics.

Psyonix also pledges to bring updated goal explosions and demolitions, as well as a brand new song called "Firework" from electronic group Hollywood Principle.

You can check all the different content coming to Rocket League not just in the video but also in the screenshot gallery below. Expect to get some actual release dates for the Supersonic Fury DLC and the free update next week, as we head into August.
