Psyonix has just revealed a new set of details about the next things coming to its popular Rocket League online game, starting with a full changelog for update 1.03, to a list of upcoming DLC and features that will soon appear for the multiplayer experience.

Rocket League won the hearts and minds of many PS4 owners through its free beta stage earlier this year, and at the beginning of the month, when it appeared on PS4 and PC, it quickly became quite popular. Throw in the fact that PS Plus owners got the game for free, and the multiplayer experience is currently enjoying a big and thriving community.

Developer Psyonix has monitored the game ever since launch and even promised that big things are coming through the first major patch, not to mention some free DLC goodies as a way of apologizing for the server issues encountered early on by players. That patch already launched earlier this week and more tweaks are coming through update 1.03 next week.

Patch 1.03 gets a full changelog

Now, the studio shares a changelog for the upcoming update 1.03, confirming that it will bring better item tracking stats for online games, not to mention punishments for players who leave during ranked games. What's more, the player's win/loss ratio on the stats page will now be displayed as a win percentage.

The update also brings a couple of PC-only tweaks, starting with an option for the mouse sensitivity setting in the menu, not to mention a fix that allows the Virtuoso achievement to unlock correctly on that platform.

New DLC and features are also coming

At the same time, Psyonix also confirmed some of the new content coming to Rocket League soon, starting with a free Utopia-inspired DLC map, which brings a circular layout instead of the stadium one. A premium Supersonic Fury DLC pack is also coming, and you can enjoy the two renders of the cars included in the add-on in the gallery below.

What's more, pearlescent paint is in the works, but it's unclear whether it will also be included in the aforementioned add-on.

Last but not least, the studio also wants to add a 3v3 team ranked mode, a spectator option, and the free items promised due to the server outages.

Expect more details about them soon. Until then, check out patch 1.03 changelog below, via RocketLeague.
