Mac gamers have been waiting for so long to play Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on their Macs, and, after months of hard work, the UK-based video games publisher Feral Interactive finally released today the astonishing video game featuring the beautiful and brave Lara Croft for Apple's macOS operating system. The Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration comes with all the DLCs released since its launch, including Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Blood Ties, and Cold Darkness Awakened, as well as the Lara's Nightmare, Endurance Mode and Expedition Cards new Expeditions modes, and a brand new Extreme Survivor difficulty level for the brave.
Official system requirements and supported Macs
The official system requirements for playing Rise of the Tomb Raider on macOS include macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later, at least a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM, and either a 1.5GB Intel Iris 540, 2GB Nvidia GeForce 680MX, or 2GB AMD Radeon R9 290M graphics card or better.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is supported on all 13-inch MacBook Pro computers released since 2016, all 15-inch MacBook Pro computers released since Late 2013 and are equipped with a 2.3GHz Intel Core processor or better, as well as all 21.5-inch iMacs released since 2017.
Additionally, you can play the game on all Mac Pro computers released since Late 2013 and all 27-inch iMacs released since Late 2013. However, the 27-inch iMacs models sporting a Nvidia GeForce GT 755M GPU aren't officially supported, but the 27-inch iMac Late 2012 model with a 2GB Nvidia GeForce 680MX GPU is supported.
Feral Interactive says that the game is also playable on all 15-inch MacBook Pro and 21.5-inch iMac computers released since Late 2013 equipped with a 2.3GHz Intel Core processor or better and without a Nvidia GeForce 750M graphics card, though gamers would experience more reduced performance and lower graphics.
