UK-based video games publisher Feral Interactive announced on Monday the upcoming availability of the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration action-adventure video game for Apple's macOS platform.

Mac gamers who wanted for so long to play the Rise of the Tomb Raider video game will finally be able to install and play this dramatic action-adventure title in the Tomb Raider franchise on their Macs starting Thursday, April 12, 2018, when Feral Interactive will publish it on Steam.

"This week, step into the wild and make your mark in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration for macOS," said Feral Interactive in today's announcement. "Harness Lara’s growing talents in a dramatic action-adventure ranging from Syria’s sun-baked ruins to Siberia’s frozen mountains."

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes all DLCs

The good news for Mac gamers is that Feral Interactive will port the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition, which includes a tremendous collection of DLCs (downloadable content) that has been released for this title since its launch more than two years ago.

Among the included DLCs, we can mention Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Blood Ties, and Cold Darkness Awakened, but players will also be able to enjoy the Lara's Nightmare, Endurance Mode and Expedition Cards in the Expeditions mode, as well as the Extreme Survivor difficulty level.

You can visit the minisite for more information, and we believe Feral Interactive will soon announce the official system requirements for playing the game on Mac computers. Until then, you can pre-order Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration from Feral Interactive's online store.

Feral Interactive also announced today that it would publish its port of the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration for the Linux platform this month, but no specific release date has been given at the moment of writing. We'll keep you guys updated as soon as we know more.
