HMD Global is said to prepare a comeback for the legendary Nokia 3310 phone and some details about the device leaked yesterday. The new Nokia 3310 is expected to come with roughly the same design as its predecessor, but it will be a bit lighter and thinner.

While it’s difficult to say for sure what the phone will look like, the render posted by NPU gives us an idea regarding the design of the new Nokia 3310. The image shows a bigger display for Nokia 3310, while the keyboard and navigation buttons stay the same.

The screen hints towards the Snake game, which made the phone popular throughout the years. A colored display would certainly make the device appealing, while a thinner and lighter body would complement its seemingly more oval design.

The new Nokia 3310 will be available in more color options

Next to the modern Nokia 3310 appears to be a Nokia 215, a feature phone that was released two years ago. Keep in mind that this is simply a render of the upcoming Nokia 3310, there’s no guarantee that the phone will actually look like this.

Yesterday’s report did say that the phone would feature a display larger than 84 x 84 pixels, but it didn’t mention the actual size. The phone is expected to be made available in more color options, including red, green and yellow, aside from gray, black, blue and ash, as the previous model.

HMD Global is expected to equip the modern Nokia 3310 with a durable case, a feature that made the initial phone very popular among users. The new Nokia 3310 will be announced on February 26 in Barcelona and it remains to be seen if it will be made available for purchase worldwide. For now, recent reports have indicated that it will be an exclusive to Carphone Warehouse in the UK, where it will be sold for the rumored price of €59 or $63.
