The guys over Remix OS released last evening, August 31, 2016, a new update to their Android-x86-based operating system for personal computers, version 3.0.203.

According to the release notes, the Remix OS 3.0.203 maintenance update is here to implement support for installing the OS on 32-bit UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) systems, as well as to fix many issues and add a couple of improvements and optimizations to the Gaming Toolkit app.

These include the enablement of key mapping in the taskbar area when it's hidden, the ability to bind all the twelve F keys on your keyboard and use them for anything you want, and the implementation of automatic restart of the Gaming Toolkit application if it crashes.

Many bugs have been fixed for the Gaming Toolkit app

As mentioned before, the new Remix OS update is also here to address many of the issues reported by users with the Gaming Toolkit app, such as a black screen that appeared for a couple of seconds when opening the toolkit, or the disappearance and non-responsiveness of the floating button when it's dragged and clicked, respectively.

Moreover, Remix OS 3.0.203 fixes a bug with the animation of the floating button, which could have been repeated a few times when it was closed. There's also a fix for an issue with non-responsive click events in the games with high-frequency, and the Gaming Toolkit was improved to no longer be active after it's been terminated.

The Remix OS 3.0.203 update is now live for your personal computer, and you can install it via the OTA (Over the Air) update system integrated into the operating system. Of course, if you prefer to download the update, you can get it right now from its official website, where you'll also find any further information you need to install it correctly.
