The Red Hat JBoss Middleware Team at Red Hat, Inc. has proudly announced the release and general availability of the first Beta build of the upcoming Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7 software suite.

Prominent features of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7 Beta include support for Oracle Java EE (Enterprise Edition) 7 and Oracle Java SE (Second Edition) 8, optimization for cloud and container deployments, better upgrade support featuring interoperability, as well as enhanced management and administration.

"JBoss EAP has been a category leader for years and has established itself as the de-facto open source, open standard platform for enterprise Java applications for many global organizations. Today we recognize a new milestone by publicly announcing the availability of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) 7 beta," reads the announcement.

According to Red Hat, the upcoming Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7 software suite is perfect for organizations that are adopting new application approaches, which include cloud environments, containers, as well as microservices architectures. Red Hat's JBoss EAP 7 promises to squarely deliver enterprise Java to its dedicated customers.

With Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7, you will be able to create and deploy the applications of the future, as besides the latest Java technologies, this release also integrates WildFly Application Server 10, which offers high-availability clustering and messaging.
