Razer, world's leader in high-performance gaming hardware and software products, announced their first gaming phone powered by Google's Android Linux-based mobile operating system.

Designed from the ground up as an ultimate gaming device for Android fans, Razer Phone is backed by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor and Adreno 540 GPU. It boasts no less than 8GB RAM, which very few smartphones on the market offer this memory capacity, including OnePlus 5, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Asus Zenfone AR, and ZTE nubia Z17/Z17s.

On top of that, Razer Phone has a stunning 5.7-inch Quad HD IGZO IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen backed by UltraMotion technology, which delivers refresh rates of up to 120 Hz for a fluid and smooth gaming experience with zero lag or stuttering. The display offers a wide color gamut for a sharp and vibrant image, 1440x2560 pixels resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and approximately 515 PPI density.

"Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 8GB RAM, get the ultimate viewing and gaming experience, backed by superior battery life for longer enjoyment. Fine tune your experience with Game Booster, confident that best-in-class thermal design produces less throttling to fully maximize the phone’s power and performance," reads the product's page.

Comes with Dolby ATMOS for a true-to-life cinematic experience

Another awesome feature of the Razer Phone is Dolby ATMOS support implemented in the stereo speakers for a true-to-life cinematic experience, and the device's THX-certified amplifiers offers audiophile quality sound when listening with compatible headphones, though it doesn't come with a headphone jack, yet there's a USB-C to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter in the box.

Razer Phone also features dual 12 MP f/1.8 and 13 MP f/2.6 cameras on the back with 2x optical zoom, geo-tagging, touch focus, phase detection autofocus, HDR, panorama, face detection, and 2160p at 30fps video recording, an 8 MP f/2.0 front camera, and it offers 64GB internal storage that's expandable to up to 256GB with a microSD card.

Equipped with a long-lasting, non-removable 4,000 mAh battery, Razer Phone comes only in a Black variant with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, as well as gyro, accelerometer, proximity, and compass sensors. Connectivity wise, the device supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with WiFi Direct and Hotspot, Bluetooth LE 4.2 A2DP, NFC, GPS with A-GPS, and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.
