14 DAY TRIAL // Some celebrities can be standoffish when they feel their personal space is invaded by fans, but Baton Rouge-based rapper Kevin Gates will turn downright violent. And as the 2 videos below will confirm, he will not shy away from physical violence to get his point across: he is not to be touched!
Gates was performing at the club Rumors in Lakeland, Florida, on Friday night, to what looked like a packed house. At one point, as he was standing on stage, a female fan from the front row reached out and slightly touched his shorts with her hand.
His response was swift and very, very violent, delivering a powerful kick to her chest or throat. The woman seemed to linger around after this, based on the videos that emerged online and are now causing a storm on social media.
No one knows whether she was treated for injuries or if she plans on filing a complaint, but Gates posted the cryptic tweet below some hours ago.
As it happens, Gates has a reputation of being violent: just this year, in the spring, he reportedly got into a physical altercation with 2 different women, on separate occasions but on the same night, also during a performance.
He also made headlines in January, after going public on social media with the admission that he had a relationship with his cousin for 2 years. At the time they were sleeping together, though, they had no idea they were related.
