Limit Theory, an RPG, RTS, and sandbox space-exploration all-in-one game, will officially arrive on the Linux platform.

The Kickstarter campaign for this game has ended on December 23, 2012, but the developer of Limit Theory had a new announcement for the fans of the game.

“Finally, the successful porting of the engine to Linux along with the first-ever 64-bit build of LT have brought about a great deal of technical excitement!” reads the official announcement, on the Kickstarter website.

Limit Theory is a procedurally generated universe and the players will get access to more than one gameplay perspective.

The developer has managed to raise enough money for Limit Theory, and so far the production of the game is on track.

Limit Theory should be available in a playable form, at least of the Kickstarter contributors, starting with January, 2014.
