"Don’t Starve" Survival Game Officially Lands in Steam for Linux

The game is developed by the famous Klei Entertainment studio

After being teased for a long time, the bizarre Don’t Starve game made by Klei Entertainment has arrived on Steam for Linux. It even comes a 10% discount.

Klei Entertainment made its name by developing the two Shank games and bringing the 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up back into fashion. This title is entirely different, but they have yet to make a bad game.

“You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home,” reads the official announcement.

Linux System Requirements

• Processor: 1.7+ GHz or better
• Memory: 1+ gigs of RAM GB RAM
• Graphics: Radeon HD5450 or better; 256 MB or higher
• Hard Drive: 500 MB HD space
