qBittorrent, a multi-platform BitTorrent client developed in C++/Qt4 by Christophe Dumez, designed to run on all major platforms, is now at version 3.1.1.

Just like the previous update, qBittorrent 3.1.1 features a large number of changes and updates, and most of them are pretty important. With these latest updates, qBittorrent shapes up to be the best BitTorrent client for the Linux platform.

Highlights of qBittorrent 3.1.1:

• The external IP is now shown in the log; • The gzip compression has been enabled in the webui; • The torrents are now showing more states (queued for checking, downloading metadata, allocating, checking resume, and so on); • The "force reannounce" to all trackers option has been re-enabled; • A missing conf.pri error has been fixed.

A complete backlog of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement. Download qBittorrent 3.1.1 right now from Softpedia.
