Just a few days ago, we were telling you a mysterious OnePlus handset leaked online revealing a stylish build and dual camera setup. The thing is OnePlus has been talking about unveiling a second device this year, so we got pretty excited at the prospect of this being said device.

Some rumors claimed that the mystery handset was actually the OnePlus Mini, a device which appeared previously in the rumor mill several times. Well, if you’ve been wondering what the handset is all about, it seems that the device was spotted making an appearance in AnTuTu (as reported by G for Games).

The smartphone showed up as model number A2301 and revealed that it would have a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, although we’re not being told the most important part, the exact size of the display. The OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One both have 5.5-inch displays, so maybe the OnePlus Mini has a 5-inch screen.

The OnePlus Mini is poised to be a mid-ranger

The phone will apparently be powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, specifically the MT6795T variant, which is the most powerful one coming with a clock speed of 2.2GHz and working in combination with a PowerVR G6200 GPU clocked at 700MHz.

Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 13MP main camera. The phone is listed to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but the OnePlus Mini would probably arrive with the company’s own OxygenOS, which is based on Android.

As far as we can tell, the model that leaked online the other day and this one aren’t exactly one and the same. For instance, there’s no mention of a dual camera setup in the AnTuTu listing.

According to the source, the information in this posting couldn’t be verified by AnTuTu, so we’d better take all these details with a grain of salt. We weren’t exactly sure the renders were showcasing the real deal either, so OnePlus’ upcoming device continues to be shrouded in a thick veil of mystery.

Back in 2014, it was rumored that the OnePlus Mini would arrive with a Snapdragon 615, which would be more appropriate for mid-rangers.
