The upcoming Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have been revealed ahead of the launch, and they look pretty much as people expected. You will need a keen eye to differentiate them from the previous generation, albeit some the coloring choice is interesting.

We already know that Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are going to be available starting October 4, but until now we had to rely on leaks and other uncertain information. Now we don’t have to wonder anymore how the devices look and what are their prices.

According to a report on droid-life.com, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will use some interesting color schemes. The smaller version built by HTC will be available in a gray/blue color (I’m sure that there is a name for it, but it might be called "boring" as far as I can tell), a black and gray combination, and a white iteration.

The white and black Pixel 2 XL looks really good

On the other hand, the LG-made Pixel 2 only comes in two variants, a dark gray / black combination, and white and black. This second iteration is a really beautiful design because unlike all the others, the two colors are in complete contrast.

As for the pricing, Google is not all that behind Apple. Pixel 2 will ship with a price tag of $649 for the 64GB version, and $749 for the 128GB variant. On the other hand, Pixel 2 XL 64 GB will sell for $849, and Pixel 2 XL 128GB will be available for $949. That’s $50 short of the $1,000 barrier for iPhone X.

It’s quite likely that the white and black version for Pixel 2 XL is going to disappear quickly off the shelf as it’s the most attractive of the bunch. The official launch has been scheduled for October 4, and a Google Pixelbook should arrive as well.
