phpMyAdmin, the popular tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL databases, has just reached version 4.1.6.

The final version of phpMyAdmin 4.1.6 has been launched and is ready for download. This is a maintenance build that comes with a few new features and fixes, just like all the previous releases in the branch so far.

According to the changelog, a bug that caused the disappearance of a user that was just created has been fixed, a confusing dialog that was provided when trying to create an already existing user has been fixed, and a missing LIMIT clause for some queries has been corrected.

Also, an icon is no longer created when the user has no privileges, the NOW() function is no longer incorrectly selected, and open_basedir warnings are now provided on the export page.

A complete list of changes is available in the official changelog, which can also be found in the downloaded source archive. Download phpMyAdmin 4.1.6 right now from Softpedia.
