In what can’t but be described as a sick twist on an already very sad story, photos of Bobbi Kristina, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobbi Brown, are being shopped to the media. Bobbi Kristina, or Krissi, is dying.

She’s been in a medically induced coma since the end January, after being found unresponsive face down in the bathtub. Just recently, she was taken off life support and medication, and the family, both the Brown and the Houston sides, have accepted to let her go peacefully.

Shocking photos might emerge online soon

Right now, Krissi is in hospice care and most members of the family have come to say goodbye to her. Doctors had long informed a grieving Bobby Brown and the other relatives that nothing else could be done for her and that, even if she survived, she was severely brain damaged to lead a semblance of an actual life.

Bobby, understandably, is said to be mad with grief.

TMZ reports that someone is shopping photos of Krissi in her current condition to the media, and what’s worse, that there is serious interest in them. Perhaps no legitimate celebrity publication would run them, but the tabloids wouldn’t pass this “opportunity.”

Just think of the National Enquirer and the kind of history it has with printing photos of dead celebrities, either in the coffin, at the morgue or even when they hadn’t even been pronounced dead, on their way to the ambulance.

“Someone is shopping a pic of Bobbi Kristina laying at death's door in a hospice,” says the report. “It was taken earlier this week at the facility outside of Atlanta. A woman is hovering over Bobbi Kristina in the photo [and] we're told it's a family member. As for who shot the photo, we're told it's ‘an extended family member’.”

The e-zine says they too were approached with the offer, but they declined it. Apparently, TMZ may be guilty of a lot of things, but this isn’t one of them.

What happened to Krissi?

On January 31, paramedics rushed to the Georgia home Krissi shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon. They found her submerged in water in the tub and managed to revive her, but upon arrival to the hospital, her condition was deemed too severe and she was put in a medically induced coma.

She had been deprived of oxygen for several minutes and doctors feared the worst, which actually turned out to be true: brain damage.

Weeks later, they tried to bring her out of the coma, but she had violent seizures. In the end, doctors had to tell the family that there was nothing they could do anymore and nothing short of a miracle would bring her back.

The police investigation that is still underway believes Gordon played a part in Krissi’s “accident,” mostly because she had injuries on her face not consistent with the way she was found.

Friends of hers have gone on record just hours ago on the kind of abuse she suffered at his hands: not only was he violent and controlling, but he also plied her with drugs in the hope of getting access to the money Whitney had left her.
