PewDiePie has released a "reaction" video to what happened to him on Valentine's Day, and he's pretty much blaming the media for the entire situation.

Felix Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie, YouTube's most-followed star with over 53.1 million fans, lashes out at the Wall Street Journal in the video, saying that the article they published about him featuring anti-Semitic messages in his videos is a personal attack. Furthermore, he accused them of taking his jokes out of context.

"Old school media does not like Internet personalities because they're scared of us," the Swede says in his video, inviting Wall Street Journal to try again because he's still there, making videos.

"It was an attack by the media to try to discredit me, to try to decrease my influence and my economic worth," he said in the 11-minute long video titled "My Response."

He makes his defense

PewDiePie uses most of his video to rant about how the media always focused on the financial part of things, about how much money he's making by creating videos for YouTube.

He also explains that he did try to make a joke with the video featuring the anti-Semitic message, where two men were holding a sign that read "death to all Jews" by stressing just what people are willing to do for $5. As for the rest, he claims they were taken out of context, and even if he was shown pointing towards something, his raised hand was seen as a Nazi salute.

"I'm sorry for the words that I used, as I know they offended people... And I admit the joke itself went too far. I understand that these things have consequences," PewDiePie says about the issue.

Following the Wall Street Journal article, Disney's Maker Studio decided to cut ties to the YouTube star. Hours later, YouTube Red announced it would no longer feature the second season of PewDiePie's show and that they were taking him off the premium ad program.
