Well, they're really sea slugs, but who cares?

Let's face it, slugs don't really qualify as cute. They're perfectly tolerable, yes, but it's not like people would ever waste hours queuing to cuddle with them. Unless they happen to be Jorunna parva sea slugs, that is.

Unlike their land-dwelling siblings, Jorunna parva slugs look totally adorbs. No, really, they don't even resemble slugs. Rather, they look like miniature bunnies with perfectly furry bodies topped by a pair of flawless teeny tiny ears. They even have Tails.

Check out the photo gallery below if you think we're talking nonsense and that slugs could never be cute enough to be mistaken for bunnies. Be warned though, be sure you have a mop and a bucket nearby as your heart might just melt into a puddle.

According to wildlife researchers, Jorunna parva sea slugs populate the waters off the coast of Japan. They can be found in other parts of the Pacific too but not in quite such large numbers.

Those things growing atop their heads and that look like bunny ears are actually nose-like appendages. Thus, the slugs rely on them to sniff out the environment around them and detect the presence of various chemicals. They also use them to navigate their surroundings.
