Panasonic has just announced yet another Eluga series smartphone that will be available for purchase in India soon. One of the few countries where Panasonic still launches Android smartphones, India will get the Eluga Z in the next couple of days.

According to a new report, Panasonic Eluga Z will soon be available for purchase in Ivory White, Midnight Blue and Champagne Gold for Rs 13,490 ($210 / €190) outright.

Panasonic Eluga Z features a metal frame body based on CNC metal grinding technique and ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box. There's now word on a possible Lollipop update in the future, but there's hope.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch OnCell AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. Obviously, it offers dual-SIM support, along with other connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with AGPS.

On the inside, the Eluga Z packs a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, which is complemented by 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Thanks to the microSD card slot inside, users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB.

Take advantage of Double Tap to Lock/Unlock feature, Smart Swipe, more

The device comes with a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Last but not least, Panasonic Eluga Z features support for 21 regional languages, as well as other useful features like FitHome interface, Double Tap to Lock/Unlock, Smart Swipe and more.

“With an aim to meet the needs of our consumers and their changing needs, the new smartphone showcases the convergence of Panasonic’s pioneering technology and consumer insight.
