14 DAY TRIAL // On Saturday, hacking crew OurMine defaced the Twitter account of Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia co-founder and current president of Wikia, a free wiki hosting platform.
OurMine has managed to gain access to Wales Twitter account, where they sent out two tweets.
The first read "RIP Jimmy Wales 1966 -- 2016 #RIPJimmyWales." The second came in 14 minutes later and read "I confirm that Wikipedia is all likes // OurMine Team is the true [REDACTED LINK leading to their website]."
The tweets were removed after a few hours, and on Sunday, the next day, Wales tweeted "I'm (obviously) OK, and tweeting back to normal."

OurMine has made a name for itself after hacking several celebrity social media accounts but recently has shifted their focus on Silicon Valley CEOs. Some of the high-profile Silicon Valey victims include:
- Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO, they hacked his Pinterest and Twitter profile);
- Dick Costolo (former Twitter CEO, they hacked his Pinterest account and cross-posted to his Twitter account);
- Jack Dorsey (Twitter CEO, they hacked his Vine account and cross-posted to his Twitter account);
- Sundar Pichai (Google CEO, they hacked his Quora account and cross-posted to his Twitter profile);
- John Hanke (Niantic CEO, they hacked his Quora account and cross-posted to his Twitter profile);
- Zach Klein (Vimeo CEO, they hacked his Quora account and cross-posted to his Twitter profile);
- Ev Williams (Twitter, Blogger, and Medium co-founder, they hacked his Twitter account);
- Marissa Mayer (Yahoo CEO, they hacked her Twitter account);
- Daniel Ek (Spotify CEO, they hacked his Twitter account);
- Brendan Iribe (Oculus Rift CEO, they hacked his Twitter account);
- Adam Mosseri (Facebook VP, they hacked his Twitter account).
Before targeting CEOs, the group has also hacked celebrities such as Deadmau5, David Guetta, Channing Tatum, Lana Del Rey, Drake, Pewdiepie, Alexa Losey, and Kylie Jenner.
