Chinese company Oppo is readying another affordable Android smartphone, which is expected to be made official in the next few weeks. The so-called Oppo Mirror 5s leaked a few weeks ago, but there was no confirmation from the OEM.

The good news is Oppo Taiwan has just teased the Mirror 5s, although it did not announce when exactly the smartphone would be officially unveiled.

However, previous rumors pointed to a possible release on July 5, so we expect the Oppo Mirror 5s to be made available in early July.

Since Oppo Taiwan is the first to tease the smartphone, we can assume that this one of the first countries to get the Mirror 5s. But judging by Oppo's previous history, the Mirror 5s is definitely coming to other Asian countries in the coming weeks.

What we don't know is whether or not Oppo plans to roll out the Mirror 5s internationally, but if the leaked release date proves to be accurate, we will learn soon enough if the smartphone will be available in even more countries.

The teaser published by Oppo Taiwan is not accompanied by any details on the smartphone's specs sheet, so we're left with the info we got from previous leaks.

Quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 5-inch HD display

Based on these leaks, Oppo Mirror 5s should be equipped with a quad-core processor and a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Furthermore, the handset is likely to pack 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

We also know the Mirror 5s is supposed to ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and Color UI on top. The phone will be powered by a 2,420 mAh battery that hasn't been rated for talk time and standby time yet.

On the back, there should be an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front the smartphone is expected to pack a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
