Chinese smartphone maker Oppo hasn't launched a flagship smartphone in a while and there's no telling when exactly the next one will hit the shelves.

We've been talking about the unannounced Oppo Find 9 for a few years now, but the smartphone hasn't made any appearances in leaked photos, so we doubt it even exists at the moment.

According the previous rumors, Oppo Find 9 should be announced or launched on the market sometime in March. A new report coming out of China claims Oppo has decided to release two Find 9 variants based on the chipset inside.

Since Samsung has first dibs on the Snapdragon 835 chipset, one of Oppo Find 9's versions will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor. It's likely that this one will be first available on the market in March or the months following its announcement.

Another version of the Find 9 could be released later on, which will be equipped with Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon 835 CPU. This one could be launched on the market after the end of April, possible in May or June.

Aside from the different chipsets, Oppo Find 9 will also include different amounts of memory, as customers will be able to choose between the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM models.

Furthermore, the Find 9 is expected to boast a large 5.5-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It will feature a bezel-less design similar to Nubia Z11.

The phone will pack a 21-megapixel photo snapper on the back and will be powered by a 4,100 mAh battery that should feature VOOC flash charging technology. Rumor has it that the Oppo Find 9 prices start at $580.

The premium version of the flagship is likely to cost $100 more, which puts it in the range of other high-end smartphones to be released by major handset makers like Samsung, LG, Huawei, and Google.
