Oppo has come a long way and is now the largest handset maker in China, along with Vivo, another company that made major improvements in the last couple of years. Unlike Vivo, Oppo is selling some of its products worldwide through its online store.

Since the Chinese company wants to remain competitive in the coming months, it needs to entice customers with great products like the unannounced Find 9.

According to a new rumor coming from China, the Find 9 will be Oppo's first smartphone to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Unfortunately, not many details have been announced about the new chipset, though Qualcomm promised that more info would be provided later on.

However, we do know that the Snapdragon 835 will be available for clients in Q1 2017, which makes us wonder whether or not the Galaxy S8 will pack one.

Well, if not for the Galaxy S8, the Oppo Find 9 is very likely to come with this powerful CPU inside, if we are to believe the latest rumors. The phone is expected to be officially unveiled next year at Mobile World Congress trade fair.

Android 7.0 Nougat and 6GB RAM sounds just about right

Aside from the fact that it will pack a Snapdragon 835 processor inside, no other information has been provided. However, there's a high chance the Find 9 will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat.

It's unclear whether or not Oppo will adopt the Quad HD technology for its smartphones' displays. If not, the Find 9 will continue to sport full HD (1080p) resolution screens, just like its predecessors.

We expect around 6GB of RAM inside and at least 32GB of storage, though we hope Oppo will sell a slightly higher version of the Oppo Find 9 with more internal memory. Here is to hoping that more info on Oppo's upcoming flagship leaks online sooner rather than later.
