Alongside the GNOME version of openSUSE 13.1, the developers of this operating system have also released a KDE flavor. This is the screenshot tour for openSUSE 13.1 KDE.

As you would expect, the KDE version of OpenSuSE 13.1 is based on the same Linux kernel as the GNOME flavor, 3.11. It's one of the latest stable versions available.

“KDE Plasma Desktop is the default in openSUSE, and the 4.11 version of this Free Desktop is a long term supported release.”

“This release brings speed improvements in Desktop Search, file and window management, improved multi-monitor handling, brand new delayed mail sending feature and scam detection for KDE PIM and much more. Also new is deeper Android integration in the desktop and in the Amarok music player,” reads the official announcement.
