The final version of openSUSE is powered by GNOME 3.10

The openSUSE Project has announced on November 19, 2013, that the final version of openSUSE 13.1 Linux operating system has been made available for download. This is a screenshot tour of the GNOME version.

Being powered by Linux kernel 3.11.1, the GNOME edition of the OpenSuSE 13.1 operating system is built on top of the GNOME 3.10 desktop environment, which comes with some interesting features, including Wayland support.

According to the developers, the GNOME edition brings the unified system status area, geolocation features, high-resolution display support, and a collection of new and improved applications including Maps, Notes, Music, and Photos.

openSUSE 13.1 Beta 1 is distributed as Live CD ISO images with the GNOME and KDE desktop environments, a netboot ISO image, and an installable DVD ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
