I installed 12.2 RC2 on mine and my wife's laptops. Both were installed with KDE as niether of us care for the Gnome shell. Had to add http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.1/repo/oss/ to the repositories in order to get our HP network printer to work. Also added the packman repo in order to install vlc, ffmpeg, and winff along with some other tools for some video conversion I mess with.

My wife plays games on here laptop and there is some hesitation in a couple of the games. Not on my priority list of things to try and work around as I don't play games and uninstalled those loaded during the install on my laptop.

My overall impression is very good job. I have done at least 50 different installs on my laptop in the last two months. Most were from the Debian side of things. Debian, Kubuntu, Mint Maya, LMDE. Any time with Debian and you learn that in order to have current offerings you are going to have to run at least testing, or unstable. If you are running one of the distros based on Debian it is probably using unstable as it's base to build from. So needless to say there have been several issues with stability.

I installed openSUSE 12.1 and was surprised at the stability and polish of the OS. I decided to reinstall with 12.2 RC2 and have been very pleased. It is much more stable than the final cuts of the others I have used. I'm looking forward to the final release in September. All I can say is good work to those that have been working on this project.
