The first Release Candidate of the the upcoming openSUSE 12.2 Linux operating system has been announced on July 12th by Will Stephenson from the openSUSE Project.

openSUSE 12.2 RC1 comes packed with very nice features, among which we can mention the KDE Software Compilation 4.8.4, GNOME 3.4.2, the GRUB 2.0 bootloader, and improvements to systemd.

Powered by Linux kernel 3.4.4, openSUSE 12.2 RC1 updates the following apps: Plymouth 0.8.5.1, zypper 1.7.3, Open Build Service client 0.135.1, GCC 4.7.1, OpenJDK 1.7.0, automake 1.12.1, XOrg Serer 1.12.3, lxpanel 0.5.1, LibreOffice 3.5.4.6, Chromium 22.0.1190.

openSUSE 12.2 RC1 is distributed as Live CD ISO images with separate KDE and GNOME desktop environments, installable only DVD ISO images, and a netboot ISO images, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

i will wait for the final stable release come out. hope the problem has been solved out when in gnome, windows tab and application tab shift slowly.
