Jos Poortvliet, from the openSUSE Project, announced a few minutes ago, June 20th, the second Beta release of the upcoming openSUSE 12.2 operating system.

Not a planned release, the OpenSuSE 12.2 Beta 2 operating system is here to help openSUSE developers find and resolve known issues and bugs. It is powered by Linux kernel 3.4.2, KDE Software Compilation 4.8.4, and features Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 13.0.1, as well as support for the latest Google Go.

As you all know, the openSUSE 12.2 operating system has been delayed for mid-September 2012. The development cycle will continue with two RC releases, one in mid-July and the other one in mid-August.
