OnePlus 3 was well received by consumers and the market. Still, some smartphone owners encountered issues with it, and one of the most prominent problems regarded RAM management on the device. Now, OnePlus has just released OxygenOS 3.2.0, which comes with multiple fixes, including improved RAM management.

OnePlus has begun rolling out the OxygenOS 3.2.0 update for the OnePlus 3. The update contains all sorts of fixes, including enhanced RAM management, sRGB mode, camera quality fixes, and more. The update comes after some users complained about the way OnePlus 3 made use of its 6GB of RAM.

The update brings enabled sRGB mode in developer options, as well as improved RAM and GPS management. Moreover, OnePlus has enhanced audio playback quality and updated the custom icon packs on the OnePlus 3.

OnePlus has added the latest Google security patches to OxygenOS 3.2.0

In addition, some issues that users had with notifications have been fixed, and camera quality and functionality have also been improved. OnePlus has announced that the company has removed issues in the Gallery and added the latest Google security patches so that personal information on the phone is safe. Some bugs in the clock/music apps have also been fixed.

The size of the update is quite large, 396MB, but it should contain all the improvements that many users have patiently awaited. One of the biggest issues with the OnePlus 3 regarded RAM management, especially since the 6GB of RAM on the handset was its main selling point.

A few weeks ago, OnePlus announced that it was working on this new OxygenOS and that users could adjust RAM management in third-party ROMs. They needed to edit the phone’s build.prop file and change the app’s limits so that the device would perform better.

The update to OxygenOS has already started rolling out and should arrive to devices within 48 hours.
