Official sales will start on November 28, 2017

OnePlus teased Android fans today with the upcoming availability of the OnePlus 5T model, which the Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to unveil on November 16, 2017, via a live event.

The company invited members of the OnePlus community to an upcoming live event called "A New View," where the OnePlus 5T Android smartphone will be officially unveiled, along with all of its new features and innovations over the current model, the OnePlus 5.

"We can't wait to tell you all about the new features and improvements that we have been working on," said OnePlus in the forum announcement. "That’s why we’re inviting you to join the team in Brooklyn for the official unveiling of the OnePlus 5T."

The event will take place in Brooklyn, New York, US, on November 16, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (4:00 p.m. GMT). Tickets will be available starting November 8, for $40 USD, and they can be purchased from the official launch page.

However, if you can't attend the event, you'll be able to watch it live on your personal computer, smartphone, or tablet via the official launch page from anywhere in the world, so make sure you bookmark the event's page now and mark the date on your calendar.

OnePlus 5T flash sale set for November 21, in India

While OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 5T smartphone on November 16, the company plans a flash sale five days later, on November 21, in India. The device will also go on sale in different parts of Europe and North America on November 21, 2017.

In India, official sales will start on November 28, one week after the November 21 flash sale, when only the luckiest of users will be able to purchase the OnePlus 5T smartphone, which will be available in China starting December 1, 2017.

The device is rumored to have a 6.0-inch screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor, an Adreno 540 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and a dual 20 MP f/1.7 camera system. It will run Google's Android 8.0 "Oreo" operating system by default.
