OnePlus is expected to announce an exciting new smartphone this year, one that will reportedly feature a fingerprint scanner in the front and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Several color options for the OnePlus 5 were teased by the company itself, on its Twitter account.

The post reads “What 5hould the color of your next phone be?” and the 5 in the moniker clearly hints towards the OnePlus 5, the phone that the company is expected to announce this summer. The post is accompanied by an image showing four colors, including black, red, gray and a combination of purple and light blue that’s quite difficult to distinguish.

Perhaps the OnePlus 5 will come with a glass back with a reflective paint job on, and the second color might reflect just that. In addition, OnePlus 5 comes with a front-facing fingerprint scanner, which the company recently confirmed.

OnePlus 5 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display

OnePlus 5 is also expected to feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, or that’s what OnePlus recently hinted in a tweet. Aside from this, OnePlus 5 is said to come with a 5.5-inch Full HD or QHD AMOLED display, together with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and multiple internal storage variants.

Moreover, the new premium smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 platform with a 64-bit octa-core processor and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, with the company’s OxygenOS on top.

Another interesting fact about the OnePlus 5 is that DxO Mark will work on the upcoming smartphone in order to enhance the camera experience, and perhaps provide the OnePlus 5 with a better sensor than the top camera in the index, the HTC U11.

In addition, OnePlus 5 is expected to come with a dual-camera setup on the back, and a LED flash underneath it. OnePlus already confirmed the OnePlus 5 moniker and the smartphone is expected to launch this summer.
