OnePlus has already officially announced that the upcoming OnePlus 5 flagship will be unveiled on June 20 during an event which will be livestreamed online. The Chinese company will also organize pop-up events in cities from around the world, including New York.

After revealing the unveil date, OnePlus recently posted a teaser on its Twitter account, thus providing the first official render of the OnePlus. The horizontal dual camera setup on the rear was thus confirmed, together with the dual LED and dual tone flash.

The smartphone shown in the render has a black matte finish and the fingerprint sensor isn’t visible on the back panel. This means that OnePlus 5 will come with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the phone’s bottom bezel.

OnePlus 5 will be released soon after the unveil on June 20

The render also shows a physical button on the side of the device, which could be the power button or the volume key. The image features the “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos.” tagline and confirms the June 20 unveil date.

The tagline already appeared in an image of the OnePlus 5 retail box and OnePlus even launched a poll for fans in China to pick the retail box design that they would prefer. The smartphone is also expected to ship with software developed by imaging company DxO Labs and it could run Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 platform, together with 8GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Internal memory on the new phone might reach 64GB or 128GB and OnePlus 5 is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Aside from this, the phone’s retail price in Europe was recently revealed in a contest listing, suggesting that OnePlus 5 could be sold for €550 in Europe. This means that the handset’s price could reach about $617 in the US, but that remains to be seen. OnePlus 5 is said to go on sale on June 22, soon after its official unveil.
