We're merely hours away from the official reveal of the OnePlus 3T and the first picture that shows us the front side of the upcoming smartphone has just been leaked.

The bad news is the picture doesn't really offer us any new information about the smartphone that we did not already know. Still, it's good to know that the OnePlus 3T will retain the physical Home button on the front side, which will probably be housing the fingerprint sensor.

Other than that, there's not much else that we can comment on the rather small picture of the alleged OnePlus 3T, but if you haven't followed our news feed, here is a quick rundown of the smartphone's main features.

First of all, it's worth mentioning that the OnePlus 3T is meant to be an incremental upgrade over the OnePlus 3, so not many hardware components will be improved.

Snapdragon 821 CPU, better camera and battery, but $80 more expensive

It remains to be seen whether or not it will be worth the upgrade from the current flagship smartphone. If you didn't know, the OnePlus 3T is expected to cost $80 more than the OnePlus 3, which currently sells for $480.

Both OnePlus and Qualcomm confirmed the OnePlus 3T would be equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 821 processor. Just like the OnePlus 3, the new model will pack 6GB of RAM and, possibly, 64GB of internal memory.

It will come with a 5.5-inch inch display, but it's unclear whether or not OnePlus will continue to use its Optic AMOLED screen in the 3T model. We also know that the phone will feature an improved 16-megapixel camera with Sony IMX398 sensor and f/1.7 lens, slightly better than the OnePlus 3's f/2.0 lens.

The OnePlus 3T might also be powered by a larger battery, but it will include the same Dash Charge technology. Also, the phone is said to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.
