Chinese company OnePlus has already launched two smartphones this year, but two other are already on the way and will probably be unveiled in 2016.

The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 2 Mini are two other smartphones possibly coming to the market next year. The OnePlus 2 Mini will probably be the first of the two to be unveiled, though an exact release date hasn't been confirmed yet.

The first information about the OnePlus 2 Mini comes from GFXBench (via Techtastic.nl) and somewhat confirms the fact that the Chinese company is considering the launch of such a device.

According to the listing at GFXBench, the OnePlus 2 Mini will pack a smaller 4.6-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. There's no mention of any protective glass like Corning Gorilla, but that doesn't mean the smartphone won't feature one.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box

The OnePlus 2 Mini tested in GFXBench runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, but we don't rule out Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

On the inside, the smartphone comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

Also, the OnePlus 2 Mini will pack 64GB of internal memory, but there's no mention of microSD card slot, so we must assume it won't come with such a feature.

At the back, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there will be a 5-megapixel camera with HD (720p) video recording.

Connectivity-wise, the OnePlus 2 Mini won't come with NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity or dual-SIM support, but Wi-Fi and 3G will be included for sure.

While the presence of OnePlus 2 Mini in GFXBench is proof that the smartphone exists, it's unclear whether the smartphone will be launched on the market anytime soon.
