14 DAY TRIAL // onOne Software, a developer of photography solutions for professionals and advanced amateur photographers, has announced the Perfect Resize, a component of the Perfect Photo Suite 5.5 for Apple Aperture and Adobe Photoshop.
Perfect Resize is touted as the next generation of Genuine Fractals technology, which adds new features for achieving sharp detail when enlarging images, new gallery wrap and tiling options, as well as interface enhancements.
The solution supports Photoshop CS5, CS4 and CS3 and can now be used directly from within Adobe’s Photoshop Lightroom and Apple’s Aperture without the need for a separate host application, onOne Software said.
Apple recently updated Aperture to version 3.1.1, addressing compatibility with the iLife Media Browser, improving reliability when upgrading existing Aperture libraries, and addressing issues with publishing photos to MobileMe, Facebook and Flickr.

Ket new features in Perfect Resize, the next generation of Genuine Fractals, include new smoothness control, a new loupe tool, new presets, new sharpening methods, the ability to work directly with Aperture and Lightroom, improved gallery wrap and tiling, batch processing enhancements, and additional improvements such as:
- presets for common printer resolutions - improved progress indicators - improved film grain simulation - the additional document size presets for panoramic and no-crop sizes
Perfect Resize is available as a standalone product and as a part of the new Perfect Photo Suite 5.5.
Those who work with Genuine Fractals 6 or earlier can upgrade to Perfect Resize for $99.95 or to the Perfect Photo Suite 5.5 for $349.95.
Plug-In Suite 5 owners are eligible for a free upgrade to Perfect Photo Suite 5.5, which includes Perfect Resize 7.
