If you own a Windows Phone smartphone other than Lumia 950/950 XL and Lumia 550, then you must have been disappointed to learn that Microsoft delayed the release of Windows 10 Mobile update until next year.

Obviously, if you don't own a Lumia smartphone things are even more complicated since Microsoft hasn't yet confirmed which non-Lumia devices will receive the Windows 10 Mobile update.

However, there might be a way to find out whether your smartphone is eligible for the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile upgrade. A list of eligible devices for Windows 10 Mobile update has just been leaked on Reddit and it looks as official as possible.

The list has been extracted from Microsoft's website, and it's been split into batches since the Redmond-based company will offer the upgrade in waves.

Some Lumia smartphones won't be getting the update

Among the devices that will not receive the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, it looks like Microsoft included some Lumia smartphones as well.

So, if you own the Lumia 505, Lumia 510, Lumia 530 (and Dual SIM model), Lumia 610 (and NFC model), Lumia 710, Lumia 800, Lumia 810, Lumia 820, and Lumia 900, you will not be getting Windows 10 Mobile through official means.

The old HTC 8S and HTC 8X won't receive the update, and the same goes for LG Lancet, Lava Iris Win 1, Samsung ATIV Odyssey, ATIV S, ATIV S Neo and ATIV SE.

Since this list of eligible devices for Windows 10 Mobile might be work in progress, there's a chance that some of the smartphones we mentioned to end up being upgraded to Windows 10 after all.

We've attached the entire list of devices that will receive Windows 10 Mobile updates next year at the bottom of the article. Also, the smartphones that will never get the upgrade have been added at the end of the list.
