Along with the staged release of Windows 10, Microsoft announced its Office Mobile solution is now available for download to all those who managed to upgrade to the latest version of its operating system.

The availability of Office Mobile apps on Windows 10 offers customers a complete all-in-one solution for on-the-go productivity on Windows 10 tablets and small screen devices.

All Office Mobile apps have been deeply integrated with OneDrive, Microsoft's cloud service, thus making it easier for users to access their documents from anywhere, pick up where they last left off, and co-author with other on documents and projects.

There are four apps included in Microsoft's Office Mobile solution: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Each of these app are now available for download via Windows Store, across 190 countries.

Each comes with mobile-specific new features

According to Microsoft, Word Mobile comes with all the core formatting commands, styles, fonts and spell check tools.

Using World Mobile, users will be able to insert tables, pictures, text boxes, hyperlinks, as well as add headers and footers, all of these using touch gestures.

Some mobile-specific features have been implemented too, such as the Read mode, which is a new way to view documents.

Then, Smart Lookup, powered by Bing, adds more online resources like images and web references directly into a document, thus giving users in-depth insights and new ideas.

Excel now makes it easier for users to reorder columns, add formulas, changing chart types, and filtering data. The application allows users to take advantage of onscreen keyboard, in case they are more familiar with touch controls.

It comes with a new Recommended Charts feature that makes it ideal for smaller screen and offers users the option to quickly visualize their data with just a few taps. Modern templates for mobile scenarios haven been added, too.

OneNote is pre-loaded on Windows 10

PowerPoint makes it easier for users to create slides with new touch gestures for inserting and editing pictures, tables, shapes and SmartArt. All transition and animation effects included in the desktop version are available here as well.

Last but not least, OneNote allows users to capture, organize and share their ideas with notebooks that they can access on any device. Simply type, write or draw and find all your notes with just a few taps.

OneNote will automatically save all your work and synchronize changes made by all those working in the notebook. Keep in mind that this application comes pre-installed on Windows 10 where it can be accessed by going to Start menu and tapping the OneNote tile.
