NVIDIA managed to earn sky high earnings this past summer when it decided to bundle Metal Gear Solid V with its newest generation of graphics card. Getting excellent reviews, Metal Gear Solid guaranteed an instant success to fresh NVIDIA cards like the GTX 980Ti and GTX 950.

However, after a small bundle offers break, NVIDIA decided to start another bundle offer this autumn, making sure that students will have a hard time getting away from their computers. Coming together with the newest NVIDIA cards like GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980 or 970 graphic adapters, including this time GTX 970M, 980M and the newest laptop-dedicated GTX 980 will be the new Ubisoft games Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege or Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

Following the incredible success of Metal Gear Solid V, Ubisoft decided to make a deal with NVIDIA to push forward its upcoming AAA titles in hopes of re-gaining the attention of gamers everywhere in regard of the long-standing Assassin's Creed series and the new competitive-shooter style iteration of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

Unlike Konami, Ubisoft has a long time collaboration with NVIDIA

It must be mentioned, however, that the collaboration between Ubisoft and NVIDIA is longer what the American graphics adapter manufacturer had with Konami. Ubisoft managed to work well with NVIDIA a few years ago on the graphics development of Assassin's Creed Unity, by implementing NVIDIA HBAO+ illumination rendering while also supporting the NVIDIA PhysX API in order to offer richer and more realistic ambient lighting. Even before that, antialiasing techniques like MFAA and TXFAA have been video options commonly found in the Assassin's Creed series.

Regarding the Tom Clancy IP at Ubisoft, NVIDIA has also worked with the French company to develop Tom Clancy’s: Splinter Cell Blacklist and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2.

This is an interesting marketing strategy developed by NVIDIA that surely brings more money to the game developers than to the tech company, but nevertheless, it will help publicize one good product with another.
