ZTE teased the launch of a new smartphone with dual-camera setup earlier today, but the Chinese company did not offer any additional details on the matter.

Luckily, new leaks coming via Weibo revealed more details for us. So, the device in question will be called Nubia Z17 Mini and it will sell in China for prices starting at $275. ZTE will announce two variations, with different chipsets and amount of RAM.

Based on the information leaked on Weibo (via GizmoChina), the Nubia Z17 Mini will sport a 5.2-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution. ZTE will use a flat screen for the phone, not a curved-edge one.

As mentioned earlier, there will be two versions of the smartphone launched in China. The cheapest will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and 4GB RAM, while the most expensive will come with a Snapdragon 653 CPU and no less than 6GB RAM inside.

Both rear-cameras feature Sony sensors

Another piece of information that's been confirmed by ZTE is the dual-camera setup. Even though ZTE did not provide any details on the camera aspect, the list of leaked specs includes two 13-megapixel cameras on the back with Sony IMX258 sensors, while in the front there's a secondary 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The mid-range smartphone will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box and it will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Other highlights of the phone that complete the leaked specs list mention 64GB of internal memory, USB Type-C port, and fingerprint sensor.

It appears that Nubia Z17 Mini will be available in black and gold versions. Also, an additional blue variant that will pack the Snapdragon 653 processor and only 4GB RAM will be launched as well. No word on the price of the most expensive model, though.
