Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia might be set to provide users of Lumia 800 devices with Internet tethering capabilities before the end of this month, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The upcoming availability of this feature was already confirmed, though no specific release date was provided as of yet.

However, it appears that Nokia is determined to make the feature available for Lumia 800 devices via a software update before the end of this month, at least in Italy.

Apparently, the move was confirmed during a meeting between carrier H3G and Nokia in Milan, Italy, a recent article on Plaffo reads.

Nokia’s Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 smartphones, launched this year, came with Internet Sharing enabled right from the start, and Nokia is working on offering similar functionality inside its first Windows Phones too, namely Lumia 710 and Lumia 800.
