You own an Android smartphone but want to give Windows Phone a try but don't want to pay a lot of money? Or you simply wish to gift someone a cheap smartphone, but don't trust Android for its security and privacy flaws?

The Nokia Lumia 530 is a solid choice for first-time smartphone users, and T-Mobile's MVNO US Mobile has a great deal for those who can't afford to pay too much for a mobile phone.

Beginning November 30, US Mobile will offer the Nokia Lumia 530 for just $10 on prepaid. The smartphone is available in white, and customers don't have to sign up for a contract.

According to US Mobile, its average customer pays only $14 per month, so the Lumia 530 could be a great alternative for anyone looking for a cheap plan as well.

Obviously, the offer will be available while supplies last, so make sure you check it out on November 30, otherwise you might be missing a great deal here.

For those unfamiliar with the Lumia 530, here is a quick rundown of what the smartphone has to offer regarding specs.

One of the most popular Windows Phone smartphones

First of all, Nokia Lumia 530 is one of the most popular Windows Phone handsets available on the market. It comes with Windows Phone 8.1, but an upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile hasn't been confirmed yet.

It's an entry-level smartphone, but for $10 anything goes. Nokia Lumia 530 comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, an Adreno 302 graphics processing unit and only 512MB of RAM.

The handset packs only 4GB of storage, but users can expand internal memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The Lumia 530 sports a small 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixels resolution.

Also, it comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which lacks LED flash but offers 480p video recording. There's no secondary camera included with Lumia 530.

Last but not least, Nokia Lumia 530 is powered by a 1,430 mAh battery that is rated by the manufacturer for up to 22 days of standby time or up to 13 hours of talk time.
