HMD Global announced on Monday that Google chooses two more of its Android-powered smartphones for its new Android Enterprise Recommended program, besides Nokia 8.

Last month, Google introduced the Android Enterprise Recommended program to make it easier for businesses to select, deploy and manage Android devices and services for their organizations.

Through this new program, Google would validate some Android smartphones as enterprise-ready, but they need to meet a few requirements first, such as to offer regular security and OS updates and streamlined bulk deployment methods.

Of course, the devices also need to have compelling hardware components that are required for the fast moving enterprise world. Among the first Android smartphones validated by Google for its Android Enterprise Recommended program, there's the Nokia 8.

Now HMD Global says that Google also validated the company's recently released Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 6 Android-powered smartphones, which will be displayed in its Android Enterprise Recommended program.

"We are excited to announce that in addition to Nokia 8, we have three new smartphones, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and the new Nokia 6 to be included in the Android Enterprise Recommended program," said HMD Global on Twitter.

That's great news for HMD Global as Nokia phones are making a comeback this year, including the older hits too. The company is on a roll lately, and it's now rumored to launch two more flagship Android devices later this year, the Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro.

Most probably, both devices will be shown on Google's Android Enterprise Recommended program along with the Nokia 8, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6. We're keeping our fingers crossed to see more awesome Nokia phones in 2018, hopefully without the "notch" design.
