The latest Nokia 8 leaks comes from VentureBeat's Even Blass, again, and this time it looks like we're looking at official press renders portraying the upcoming flagship Android smartphone.

Nokia 8 rumors began early in the year, when it was said to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor, have a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports Quad HD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution, and a 24MP rear-facing camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and Super EIS.

A Nokia-branded flagship smartphone was said to be officially unveiled in late February, but it turned out that Nokia 6 was released instead, as a mid-range offering from HMD Global, which is yet to introduce a true flagship class device since it started building Android smartphones using the Nokia name for which it's the exclusive licensee.

This is the Nokia 8

The image below shows the Nokia 8 device, which HMD Global will be unveiling later this month, on July 31. The smartphone appears to feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with 2560x1440 resolution, sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, and ship in two variants, with 4GB and 6GB RAM.

Nokia 8 is said to be powered by Google's latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat mobile operating system.  It will have a 13MP dual camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and launch in at least four flavors, with Blue, Steel, Gold Blue, and Gold Copper, according to WinFuture.

The device could be priced at about €589 (~$675 USD), according to a Scandinavian retailer that recently listed the Nokia 8 model on their website. Considering that there are only two weeks since its rumored unveiling, the Nokia 8 smartphone should soon get some official specs from HDM Global, so it won't be long until we can get our hands on their first flagship device.
