If you've been disappointed by the fact that the first Nokia-branded smartphone since the Finnish company does not belong to Microsoft anymore is available only in China, then you'll be happy to know that HMD Global plans to launch another handset in about a month.

Nokia Supreme will be launched on the market as Nokia 8. The smartphone hasn't been confirmed yet, but we do have a ton of information about the next Nokia-branded handset to be introduced by HMD Gobal.

We reported a few days ago about Nokia 8's leaked specs and mentioned the fact that the smartphone was showcased at Qualcomm's booth at CES 2017 trade fair.

The person leaking the information about the Nokia 8 also promised to publish a video showing the two versions of the smartphone that might be introduced next month.

Today, the video was uploaded to YouTube, and as the owner of the channel points out, it shows a camera comparison between Nokia 8 units with the Snapdragon 821 and 835 processors. He also claims that these are earlier models “sent in by a source at a manufacturing facility in Russia for Nokia new hardware partner.”

Unlike the Snapdragon 821 model, Nokia 8 powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 835 processor features EIS 3.0, which provides the smoothest video on a smartphone to date. It allows users to take videos while on the move with minimum shake effects.

Both versions of the Nokia 8 pack 24-megapixel rear-facing cameras with OIS (optical image stabilization) and dual-LED flash. They also feature secondary 12-megapixel cameras for selfies and video calls.

Customers will also be able to choose between the 64GB and 128GB models, but both will include microSD card for memory expansion (up to 256GB).

As per our previous report, Nokia 8 boasts a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Also, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.
