Hours after the Houston family announced that Whitney Houston’s only daughter, Bobbi Kristina (Krissi), had been taken off life support and medication and been moved into hospice care, the conservator for the Estate filed lawsuit papers against Nick Gordon, alleging assault, theft and fraud.

Nick Gordon is the young man Whitney took in and raised as her son, but never legally adopted. After the singer’s death in 2012, he and Krissi became romantically involved and had even told the media they had gotten married.

After Krissi’s hospitalization in January this year, her father told the press that they were not legally married and suggested that Nick might have played a part in the “accident” that put her in a coma and saw her suffer serious brain damage.

Lawsuit paints horrifying picture of Gordon

In documents obtained by Us Weekly, conservator Bedelia Hargrove paints a horrifying picture of Nick Gordon and the kind of abuse Krissi suffered at his hands.

Apparently, in the months leading up to her near-drowning in the bathtub, she had confided in a friend that he was “not the man she thought he was.” They had even set up a meeting for the day she was found unresponsive in the tub, which begs the question: was it really an accident, or was “someone” deliberately trying to prevent her from exposing him?

Moreover, Nick was often physically and verbally abusive to Krissi. One time, they got into an “explosive” fight and he dragged her up the stairs by the hair, before knocking her teeth out. He would also control everything she did by monitoring her calls and not allowing her to go out without his previous approval.

He would often steal money from her because he was in charge of her bank accounts. Right after she was hospitalized and put in a medically induced coma, he transferred $11,000 (€9,824) of her money into his account, the lawsuit notes.

The idea of lying about being married came from him, Hargrove says.

Nick Gordon should pay up

There’s no official word on the investigation into Krissi’s accident, but rumor has it that the police are liking Gordon for their guy and that he’s been the prime suspect since day one because she showed up in the hospital with facial injuries not consistent with how she was found.

According to this lawsuit, he did more than just try to kill her: he tormented her for months and stole from her, so he must pay.

“No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured,” Hargrove tells Us in a statement. “Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina. We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.”

The lawsuit seeks damages to the tune of $10 million (€8.92 million) from Gordon. He must have seen it coming since he tried to earn some public sympathy with a disastrous interview with Dr. Phil back in March, which he followed up with a stint in rehab.
