Grand Theft Auto 5's next major GTA Online content update has already seen some elements leak online. First up, the codename is apparently "Low," and judging by the vehicles listed in the game's files, they could bring fresh lowriders to the open-world experience.

Grand Theft Auto 5 launched back in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, reached the PS4 and Xbox One in November, and finally surfaced on PC last April. During all this time, developer Rockstar Games has brought all sorts of different content updates for the game, adding fresh items, vehicles, and gear to the single-player campaign as well as the GTA Online multiplayer.

After the two-part Ill-Gotten Gains patch, which added all sorts of expensive, high-end items, vehicles, or weapons, fans are already looking forward to the next big update.

GTA 5's next update is codenamed "Low"

Fortunately for them, clever users have already uncovered some new listings in the game's files after applying Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 (aka patch 1.28).

According to GTAForums users, the codename for the next update is "Low," and judging by the 12 new vehicles found in the files, the next content patch might bring more lowriders to the open-world experience.

Apparently, many of the listings reference older cars that already saw the light of day in Grand Theft Auto 4 many years ago, including the Faction, the Sabre GT2, the Buccaneer, or the Slam Van. In case you don't remember, all of these cars can easily sport lowrider configuration, thanks to hydraulic suspensions.

It's unclear when exactly this new update might launch for Grand Theft Auto 5, but seeing as how listings and mentions are already present in the game, it might surface probably in August across PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Until then, expect Rockstar to make an official announcement in the next few weeks, confirming, or even bringing some screenshots to showcase the update.
