When you hate the Kardashians but your work involves talking about them every single day, ignoring them is obviously not an option. No wonder then that a morning show host in Florida completely lost his marbles when a correspondent wanted to talk about the latest Kardashian-Jenner story, namely Kylie Jenner’s acquisition of a pet rabbit.

She named him Bruce, like her dad, who is now legally a trans-woman named Caitlyn Jenner.

John Brown is the co-host of Fox35’s Good Day Orlando and he felt like he simply couldn’t take any more of the Kardashians when the topic came up. His on-air meltdown and subsequent rant, which happened on Friday’s show, have since gone viral.

Believe it or not, he’s also been getting plenty of support on social media, for standing up to the Kardashian PR machine by pointing out the obvious: although they’re in the press every day with at least a couple of stories (each!), they’re not newsworthy. Their stories are nonstories, and as such, they shouldn’t even be featured in the entertainment section.

“Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest!” Brown wrote on Facebook, in a post including the now-viral video. “I did feel better though after I was done though.”

In an ironic twist of fate, his meltdown has only helped the Kardashians get another headline and become even more famous.
