Microsoft has already confirmed that a new Windows 10 Mobile build will launch this week, after the company's October 6 hardware event, but as everyone's waiting for the release to take place, screenshots of an upcoming version leak to the web.

This new pack of screenshots reveals several new features that will be added to Windows 10 Mobile very soon, but it's very important to note that, for the moment, the exact version of this new build is not known. Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, has said that build 10559 is currently being tested in the internal fast ring, but it's not known if the features you see here are included in this version or not.

Nevertheless, let's get back to the new things revealed by these screenshots.

First of all, there's the possibility of increasing and decreasing the size of the items you see on the display, including here the text, icons, and graphics. This feature sounds, looks, and works a lot like the classic DPI settings in Windows 10, and implementing such functionality in Windows 10 Mobile actually makes sense.

The OS will be installed on devices of all sizes, including 7-inchers, so offering options that would let them adjust to the screen size is critical.

At the same time, the screenshots reveal new developer options and advanced settings, so Microsoft's working on multiple fronts with this new Windows 10 Mobile build.

The company is expected to disclose more information about the future of the new mobile OS version tomorrow, when it will also take the wraps off the new Lumias. Pundits claim that Windows 10 Mobile is projected to launch in November, as soon as development of TH2 update is finalized, so we might have to wait only another month to get our hands on the new OS.
