Here we go again: Microsoft rolled out a new Windows 10 Mobile build for users enrolled in the Fast ring, but as it was the case with 99 percent of the releases that were included in the Redstone 3 project, no new features are shipped.

This means that users who download and install Windows 10 Mobile build 15237 are only getting a handful of bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as a series of known issues that you should really check out if you plan on installing the build.

First of all, Microsoft says that it improved the Field Medic Store app and it addressed an issue with collecting Watson crash data and enabled the spell checking. There are also fixes for the screen occasionally flashing back after launching or rotating the Camera app, as well as a patch for the HP Elite X3 incorrectly providing a notification that the SD card had been removed from the device.

Known issues

Continuum is also getting more improvements, with Microsoft saying that a bug causing the mobile LCD to not power off after the attached monitor is unplugged should no longer be there. This issue caused major battery issues, so it’s important for the company that it managed to address it.

The Windows inbox NFC driver has been updated to report the correct card type data, as well as digital assistant Cortana to enable a skill be authenticated before users launch it.

There are also several known issues, and you can check them in full in the box after the jump, but the most important concerns an error that you could get in the Windows Store.

“When installing or updating a Windows Store app, you may see error 80070057. As a workaround, you can get the latest app by uninstalling the older version of the app from your device and reinstall latest version from Store,” Microsoft says.

At this point, it’s not yet known when this update is supposed to be finalized, as Microsoft hasn’t yet confirmed whether mobile devices could get it in September when PCs receive the Fall Creators Update.
