It’s a busy week for Microsoft and Windows insiders, as the company is getting ready to compile the official RTM candidate for the Creators Update expected to go live in April.

And while work on Windows 10 Creators Update RTM advances very fast, the company also decided to release new ISOs for Windows insiders in order to give them the chance to get closer to the latest builds and start from scratch.

The new ISOs are for build 15048, which is one of the latest significant releases as part of the Windows Insider program, as the latest builds are all about fixes and improvements for the operating system.

For users who were running older builds, this new ISOs help them update to a newer release faster than before with a clean install that’s supposed to eliminate all the bugs that might exist or appear after upgrading.

Just like before, today’s new ISOs are available in five different versions, namely Home, Enterprise, Education, Home Single Language, and Home China. Of course, both 32- and 64-bit ISOs are being offered, so make sure you download the one that’s right for your system.

One step closer to RTM

The previous ISOs shipped to insiders were released for build 15042, so there’s not such a big difference between the old and the new images, though there’s no doubt that it’s worth updating.

In addition, Microsoft also released Windows 10 build 15058 for PC insiders, bringing us one step closer to the official RTM build that’s expected to be compiled these days.

For the moment, this new build is only shipped to the Fast ring, but depending on how bug hunting advances, it could make it to other rings as well. Other builds could also be released in the coming days before RTM is officially compiled.

Windows 10 Creators Update is just around the corner, with sources familiar with the matter saying that April 11 is very likely to be the target date for the launch.
